"My first semester here has been very good although is not what I had expected due to the situation we are currently going through, but the University of Chester has been great and I most certainly have enjoyed my classes. I have also enjoyed the independence of living in a different country and having to take responsibility for your actions. I feel like it has helped me further develop into a more responsible man and overall a better person."

"Academically, the University provides the resources for him to excel in his program of interest. The professors and tutors are available and approachable for continued guidance along the journey. The academic program integrates work-based opportunities to expand their knowledge and skills to intern in their field of interest. The most impressive part for us was the flexible pathways that the academic programs are designed to individualize studies in order to promote success. UDA instills the importance of academics in their students through continued expectations and support.
My son is thriving in the UDA experience. As a parent, I feel that UDA has provided me with the trust that my son will be given the necessary tools to be successful in his academic fulfillment." |

“UDA support staff, in conjunction with the University of Chester International Office, have provided a support system that has allowed Cameron to thrive, and has enabled us, as his parents, to continue to be involved in his life. Having a support system has meant the world to us, and to him, this past year. The university provides the same academic support services that are found at American universities. Whether Cameron has needed support with his study skills, course advice from his PAT (personal academic tutor), or general support in setting up banking, cell phones, medical, or travel support, the International Office at the University of Chester, and especially the entire UDA UK staff, have provided Cameron with the guidance he has needed, allowing him to have the confidence to transition to life in the UK and all that it has to offer."

My experience at Uni has not only been influenced by academics, but also the people around me. Additionally, my nationality has also given me friends and many of them are a part of the UDA team. Not only do I have friends from the United States, but from Wales, Ireland, Northern Ireland, Australia, South Africa, and Holland. Everyone at Chester has been so welcoming to me, but I wouldn’t have been able to make these friends if I hadn’t walked down the hall and met the few people hanging out in the hallway. The cliche saying of “leave your door open” is one of the main things that has given me the opportunity to make new friends from all around the world.
My overall time at the University of Chester has been some of the best few months of my life and for anyone looking to study in the UK or overseas in general, I strongly encourage you to look at the University of Chester. - Baylee Mueller, Columbus, Ohio |

"A unique experience to live and study in England. During my time studying in the UK I was exposed to a different style of education, which forced me to see from a different perspective"

"Being a few years removed from my time in England, I still consider the experience worthwhile ... [it] provided a unique opportunity to pursue my desired career and obtain my degree."
